Today I’m going to show the basics of using Windows Media Player for accessing all your videos, music and pictures.
To open Windows Media Player, go to the “Start” menu, then go to “All Programs” and look for the program name.
Once accessed, click on the content you want to see: Videos, pictures, etc. Just double click on any item you want to open or play.
If you are watching a video, you will notice some tools on the bottom of the screen that you can use to pause, play, stop the video, repeat it and more. If you want to go back, just click on the icon on the top right.
Use the icon on the bottom right to make the video full screen.
If you want to open music files, you can create playlists and add songs to it, the ones you like the most, as you listen to them. You can also track your music by title, length, rating, artist, composer, etc. If you want to create a “Playlist”, simply go to the option on the right that says “Playlist” then click on the “Click Here” button in the middle of the screen. Give your playlist a title and if you want to add songs to it, simply click on the song and drag it to the playlist.
And with the pictures, if you click on the icon, you will see all the pictures displayed. On the right you will see a list of all the pictures contained within the player. Double click on the picture to see it in full size. Use the button on the bottom of the page to move forward or backwards through the pictures. Also available are the “Shuffle” tab and the “Repeat” tab as in the videos.
And there you go, now you know the basics on how to use Media Player.
